Frequently Asked Quesitons

  • Any concerns about your child’s communication or learning development may be helped and further investigated by a speech pathologist. These concerns may come from yourself, teachers or other professionals. Concerns might include difficulties with:

    • Pronouncing words and sounds accurately

    • Reading, writing and spelling

    • Understanding or following directions

    • Building sentences or expressing ideas clearly

    • Speaking smoothly (e.g. stuttering)

    • Using social language appropriately (e.g. understanding body language, turn-taking, or conversation skills)
