About Us

At Figure of Speech Pathology, we’re passionate about helping children and adolescents communicate with confidence and clarity. Our team of qualified speech pathologists specialises in assessing, diagnosing, and supporting a wide range of communication needs, including speech, language, fluency, literacy, social communication, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

We believe that every child deserves to be heard, understood, and supported in a way that respects their individuality. That’s why our approach is neuro-affirming, holistic, and evidence-based. We tailor our therapy to suit each child’s strengths, needs, and goals.

Philosophy.

Your child is unique, which is why we meet your child where they are to develop their skills and confidence.

Approach.

Our person-centred, neuro-affirming and evidence-based approach allows us to deliver holistic and functional care, tailored to your child's individual needs.

Mission.

Our aim is to ensure that your child receives the necessary support for real, measurable, meaningful progress and lasting growth.

Supporting your child’s growth.

We work closely with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to provide care that’s meaningful and functional. Located at The Kite Centre, our therapists work within a multidisciplinary team.

We also know that therapy doesn't end when the session does. Regular home practice, caregiver education, and simple strategies embedded into daily routines play a vital role in reinforcing skills and supporting long-term success. We empower families with practical tools and home-based activities to help children generalise what they learn in therapy to everyday life.

Whether your child is just beginning their communication journey or needs support with specific areas of development, we’re here to help.
